Former Donegal Town Pervert DJ Arrested in UK

Good news at last…our old friend, the pervert disco king, DJ Small Paul has finally been caught. Hopefully he’ll get his just rewards. Former Donegal Town resident and convicted paedophile, Alexander Colin Dalgleish has been arrested in the UK. The 35 year old was arrested in Yorkshire as he visited his parents in Scarborough earlier this month. He fled Donegal Town in November and moved to Galway. Dalgleish, who was known as Paul Williams or DJ Small Paul while in south Donegal, faces four charges of failing to inform police of his movements as one of the conditions of being on the sex offenders register. He is due in court on March 8th to face the charges along with other unrelated larceny charges.

15 New Jobs for Donegal Town

Fifteen new jobs are to be created in Donegal Town with news that a tool hire company is to expand it’s operation to the area.

Watsonhire provides hire equipment to the construction, DIY and industrial sectors in the North West.

Six staff are to be employed at the outset with a further nine people to be recruited over the next eighteen months. The company is in the process of building it’s base at Drumlonagher.

Manager at the company’s Letterkenny base, Derek Glenn, said the prospect of many large building projects in Donegal Town and the south of the county is the reason behind the decision.

15 jobs?  Nothing really to get excited about. 1500 or more are needed to make up for all the jobs that were lost in Donegal Town over the last few years.

Garda assaulted in Donegal Town

Two male teenagers were arrested in Donegal Town at the weekend following an incident which resulted in a Garda being grabbed by the throat.

The incident took place just off the Diamond on Main Street in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The Garda was unhurt following the incident.

Files are to be sent to the DPP.

If there were cameras up around the Diamond filming the goings-on after dark, then I’d buy a copy of the DVD that could be made with the footage.

Meanwhile, a total of five people were arrested over the weekend in the Ballyshannon Garda District on suspicion of drink driving.

Lack of news…

I haven’t been adding anything new to this of late, too busy hunting down perverts. My tar has dried up and I’m staying away from feathers since the bird-flu scare.

Looks like the Donegal Post gave up on their web site…it looks like mine now, only worse.

Not much happening about anyway…
